Brainstorming

Initial Look & Notes

• The typography on the cover should bend and curve with the collar
• Page numbers should never be on the top of the page
• Typography choice is not intentional
• Fix the ragging
• Have illustrations interact more with the typography. (Image placement)
• No grid used

• Illustrations are flat and not eye-catching. They can be morecreative and fun while using a flat illustration style
• How can this book/project be exapanded from the book?

Revisions
I changed the cover completely to show a scene from the book and made a custom title typeface and used Helsinki for the subtitle. I moved the page numbers to the outside bottom corners.

After researching the best typefaces for children readability, I chose
Gill sans 16pt. I spaced out the text to increase readability and visual flow.
